1) As well as eliminating the cause of the fault (as described under "Remedial measures"),
you must also rectify any damage the machine may have suffered.
2) Note any changes that take place while the temperature is rising.

Remedial measures

Determine cause and adjust parts concerned
Check airways, clean machine
Check feather key declaration (H, F, N)
Please consult the manufacturer.
Align machine set,
check coupling.
2)
Re-balance coupled machine
Inspect coupled machine
Adjust/repair gearing
Reinforce foundation following consultation
Determine cause of changes; eliminate if
necessary; realign machine
