Safety Instructions

This section shows notes on using the server safely. Read this section carefully to ensure proper and safe use of the server.

General

Do not use NeoFace if any smoke, odor, or noise is present.
If smoke, odor, or noise is present, immediately turn off NeoFace and disconnect the power plug from the outlet,
then contact your sales representative. Using NeoFace in such conditions may cause a fire.
Do not insert foreign objects such as metal pieces or liquids into the vents or opening of the connector terminal of
NeoFace
This may cause fire, electric shock, or failure. If the foreign objects or liquids have entered, switch OFF the power,
remove the power plug and contact your sales representative.
Do not use NeoFace outside Japan
NeoFace
outside of Japan may cause electrical shocks or a fire.

Precautions for AC Adapter and Power Cord Use

Insert the power cord into outlets whose voltage matches that of the power cord
When using the AC adapter purchased as an option, plug the power cord into an outlet of 100 V AC in accordance
with the voltage of the supplied power cord.
Plugging the power cord into an outlet of voltage different from the specified voltage may cause a fire.
Do not hold the power plug with wet hands
Do not disconnect/connect the plug while your hands are wet. Otherwise, this may cause electrical shocks.
Do not connect or disconnect the earth wire with the power cord of the server plugged to a power source.
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet before connecting or disconnecting the earth wire. Touching the
ground wire with the power plug plugged even when the power is switched OFF may cause a fire or electric shock.
