Risk of motor overheating for incorrectly connected KTY temperature sensor
A KTY temperature sensor connected with incorrect polarity cannot detect if the motor
overheats.
• Make sure that you connect the KTY temperature sensor with the correct polarity.
Note
The temperature sensor connection can be used for motors that are equipped with a KTY84-
1C130 or PTC probe in the stator windings.

Connection to terminal strip -X9
A cable harness is used to connect terminals -X41:1 and -X41:2 to terminals -X9:8 and -
X9:7.

Note
Connection options of terminal strip X42
The terminal strip is not intended to supply other 24 VDC loads (for example, for supplying
other components on the plant/system side), as the voltage supply of the Control Interface
Module could also be overloaded and result in malfunctions.
