10. Cleaning the appliance

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock due to live parts.
 Never immerse the appliance or the mains cable in
water or other liquids.
 Disconnect the plug (10) from the mains socket and from
the appliance before cleaning the latter.
ATTENTION!
Possible material damage!
Delicate surfaces can be damaged if handled incorrectly.
 Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or
objects to clean the accessories and the housing because
these items could damage the surfaces.
 Use a mild cleaning agent, such as washing-up liquid,
and a soft cloth.
 Remove the lid (14) with the motor block (15) and stirrer (13) by turning the lid anti-
clockwise (Fig. H).
 Disassemble the stirrer by pulling it out of the drive shaft (15) (Fig. I).
 Press the release button (1) (Fig. J).
 Slide the lid out of the locking tabs (Fig. K).
 Remove the lid from the motor block (Fig. L).
 Do not clean the aluminium container until it has reached room temperature. Then
clean it with hot water, washing-up liquid and a damp cloth.
 Clean the accessories with hot water and washing-up liquid.
 Wipe the surfaces of the appliance with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
Please note that the accessories are not dishwasher safe.

11. End of operation

If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket and store the appliance in a dry location.
