1. Insert the cable through
the cable clamp.
10. Tighten the screw on top of the cable clamp to
secure the connection to the throttle control.
11. Route the cable beneath the front of the engine
and through the cable clip
12. Install the cable clip at the front-right engine bolt
(Figure 17).

13. Route the cable up the right side of the handle
and connect the throttle cable to the traction
bracket and lever as shown in
Important:
Route the cable so that it does
not contact any hot or moving parts.

1. Hook the exposed cable
into the throttle lever.

14. Move the throttle lever to the max speed
position; if the lever contacts the plastic console,
grind the opening to create clearance for the
lever to move all the way forward.

the Air Cleaner (page
16. Install the console cover with the 4
previously-removed screws and handle grips
