4. If the air gap is not within the specified range,
do the following:
A. Loosen the nut that secures the belt guide
to the motor
Important:

B. Rotate the belt guide up or down until there
is an air gap of 2.5 to 4.0 mm (3/32 to 5/32
inch) between the guide and each belt
(Figure 39).

and both belts cannot be attained, then 1 of
the belts is too long.
