5.1.1

First commissioning

On first commissioning, powerconfig is connected to the internal network of the smart
assembly.
You will find further information in the graphic in chapter Performance features of the internal
Ethernet interface (Page 35).
All networks of the smart assembly, whether it is Ethernet, or in future RS485 with Modbus
RTU, are created as separate networks, e.g. address space and subnet ID.
There, the individual devices, including the 7KN Powercenter 3000, will be supplied with
network addresses and other parameters and operated in the normal way.
The connected devices are located in the project tree and in the gateway hierarchy
underneath the 7KN Powercenter 3000.
7KN Powercenter 3000 and the other SENTRON devices can also be searched for via
powerconfig and created in the project tree and in the gateway hierarchy in the way
described above.
7KN Powercenter 3000 is parameterized like any other SENTRON device in powerconfig ≥
V3.12.
The setup of the 7KN Powercenter 3000 and all subordinate devices can be imported and
exported with powerconfig as a .splx file.
These can be imported via the Web user interface via "Settings → Actions → Import project".
Conversely, 7KN Powercenter 3000 can export a splx file via "Settings → Actions → Export
project".
Because the identification and communication data can be changed through the Web user
interface of the 7KN Powercenter 3000, the setup data can be kept consistent and further
processed in powerconfig. You will find further details in chapter FAQs (Page 75).
