Connecting the power supply

Safety regulations - connecting cable
Use only DC connection cables that comply with the local safety regulations.
Otherwise, there is a danger of fire and danger due to electric shock. This can result in
injury or damage to property.

IEC/EN/UL 61010
Note the following if you are operating the device in accordance with IEC/EN/UL 61010-2-
201:
• The device must only be connected to a 24 V DC power supply that meets the
requirements of a safety extra low voltage (SELV/PELV) in accordance with
IEC/EN/UL 61010-2-201.
• In the area in which UL/CSA 61010-2-201 applies, the device must be supplied with
power during operation outside an enclosure according to UL/CSA 61010-2-201 with
NEC Class 2 or a limited-energy circuit according to UL/CSA 61010-1.
Note
The 24 V DC power supply must be adapted to the input data of the device (see Technical
data (Page 77)).
Requirements
● The PE conductor has been connected.
● You are using the terminal provided.
● A two-wire cable with a conductor cross-section for the 24 V DC connection of 0.75 mm
to 2.5 mm
● A flat-tip screwdriver with an approx. 3 mm blade.
