6. Handling of the Product

6-1. Handling of Power Cord and Turning On/Off Power

This section describes how to connect or disconnect power cord, and how to turn on/off the power, and
precautions on handling of power cord.
For location of power supply unit, see "4. Names and Features of Component" in this manual.
This product has no power switch. Electric power is supplied to this product when a power cord is
connected. If all of the power cords are disconnected, the power supply to this product is shut off.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
This products can accept 100 VAC to 240 VAC.
Important
No power cord is attached to the product. Prepare the power cord
appropriately.
Use of power cord with an imapropriate voltage causes malfunction,
fire, and electric shock.
Two power cords are required when redundant power supply is
installed.

In redundant power configuration, power supply system must also be
redundant by separating the switchboard.
Do not hold the power plug with a wet hand.
Do not disconnect/connect the power plug while your hands are wet. Failure to follow this
warning may cause an electric shock.
Disconnect all the power plugs when shutting down AC power.
The product may be configured with multiple power supply unit by installing the redundant
power supply unit. When shutting down AC power, disconnect all the power plugs to avoid an
electric shock.
Do not connect the ground wire to a gas pipe.
Never connect the ground wire to a gas pipe. Failure to follow this warning may cause a gas
explosion.
