7-1. Replacing the PowerSupply Unit

Refer to (3.7.1 Extracting and Inserting the Power Supply Unit) in the SwitchX 36-Port QSFP FDR

7-2. Replacing Fan Module

Refer to (3.7.2 Extracting and Inserting the FAN Unit) in the SwitchX 36-Port QSFP FDR InfiniBand
System Hardware User Manual.
 
 
 
 
You can replace the power supply unit while the product is running only

when the redundant power supply unit is installed.
When replacing two supply units, perform replacement work one by
one.
When the redundant power supply unit is installed and the product
needs to be run in redundant power configuration, leave the failed
power supply unit as is until it is replaced.
If you feel difficult to insert the power supply unit, make sure the
orientation of power supply unit and try again.
Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the power supply unit.
Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or alter the power supply unit on any occasion except as
described in this document. Failure to follow this warning may cause not only malfunction of
the power supply unit but also an electric shock or fire.
If replacing the fan module while the product is operating, be sure to

finish replacing work within two minutes.
If you feel difficult to insert the fan module, make sure the orientation of
power supply unit and try again.
