Description
– Five NVIDIA T4 or Cambricon MLU270-S4 GPUs are supported only for server
models installed with two CPUs, and installed in slot 1, slot 2, slot 3, slot 5, and
slot 6.
– If NVIDIA P600, NVIDIA P620, NVIDIA P4000, NVIDIA RTX4000, NVIDIA P6000,
or NVIDIA RTX5000 GPU is installed, the fan redundancy function is not
supported. If one fan fails, power off the system immediately to prevent GPU
overheat and replace the fan with a new one.
– Cambricon MLU100-C3 processing adapter supports CentOS 7.6 when used in
combination with Intel Xeon SP Gen 2, and supports CentOS 7.5 when used in
combination with Intel Xeon SP Gen 1.
GPU installation requirements:
GPU is supported only when the following hardware configuration requirements are
met at the same time:
• Server model: eight 3.5-inch-drive bays, eight 2.5-inch-drive bays, or sixteen 2.5-
inch-drive bays
• Processor: High Tcase type; TDP less than or equal to 150 watts
Notes:
– For server models with eight 2.5-inch-drive bays, if the server is installed with
GPUs (except for GPU model NVIDIA P4, NVIDIA T4, NVIDIA V100 FHHL,
NVIDIA P600, NVIDIA P620, NVIDIA P4000, NVIDIA RTX4000, NVIDIA P6000,
and NVIDIA RTX5000) and the operating temperature is equal to or less than
30°C, the TDP should be less than or equal to 165 watts.
– For server models with eight 3.5-inch-drive bays or sixteen 2.5-inch-drive bays,
if server is installed with NVIDIA T4 or Cambricon MLU270-S4 GPU, the TDP
should be less than or equal to 150 watts.
– For server models with eight 2.5-inch-drive bays, if the server is installed with
up to four NVIDIA T4 or Cambricon MLU270-S4 GPUs, the TDP can be more
than 150 watts, if the server is installed with five NVIDIA T4 or Cambricon
MLU270-S4 GPUs, the TDP should be less than or equal to 150 watts.
• Drive: no more than four NVMe drives installed, and no PCIe NVMe add-in-card
(AIC) installed.
• Power supply: for one GPU, 1100-watt or 1600-watt power supplies installed; for
two or three GPUs, 1600-watt power supplies installed
• An HBA 430-8i or 430-16i SAS/SATA adapter that support JBOD mode but does
not support RAID
• A RAID 530-8i SAS/SATA adapter that supports JBOD mode and RAID levels 0, 1,
5, 10, and 50
• A RAID 530-16i SAS/SATA adapter that supports JBOD mode and RAID levels 0,
1, and 10
• A RAID 730-8i 1G Cache SAS/SATA adapter that supports JBOD mode and RAID
levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50
• A RAID 730-8i 2G Cache SAS/SATA adapter that supports JBOD mode and RAID
levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60
• A RAID 730-8i 4G Flash SAS/SATA adapter with CacheCade (for some models
only) that supports JBOD mode and RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60
• A RAID 930-8e SAS/SATA adapter that supports JBOD mode and RAID levels 0,
1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60
• A RAID 930-8i, 930-16i, or 930-24i SAS/SATA adapter that supports JBOD mode
and RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60
