Baking trays and universal pan
Mixture:
250 g butter, soft
140 g sugar
140 g brown sugar
½ tsp salt
350 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 sachet liquid vanilla essence
200 g chocolate chips
120 g walnuts, chopped
In addition:
Greaseproof paper

Preparation
1 | Beat the butter with the sugar and salt until
creamy.
2 | Mix the flour with the baking powder.
Alternately add to the creamy mixture with egg
and vanilla essence. Finally, stir in chocolate
chips and chopped walnuts.
3 | Line the baking trays with greaseproof paper.
4 | Using two teaspoons, place walnut-sized
blobs of mixture on the baking trays. Ensure you
leave enough space between them, as the mixture
will spread as it bakes. Bake as indicated.

Baking trays, level 1 and 5, universal pan, level 3
140 °C
Baking time: 30-35 minutes
Tip:
Instead of walnuts, you could also add almonds to
the mixture.
