Pull the hood off the machine.
Removing the Front Cover
Important:
Remove the front cover to access
the main-power connectors and fuse only when
you are unable to safely raise the loader arms to
remove the hood.
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, lower the
loader arms, and engage the parking brake.
2.
Shut off the machine and remove the key.
3.
Remove the 4 bolts securing the front cover and
remove the cover

Disconnecting the Main
Power
Before you service the machine, disconnect the
machine from the power supply by separating the
main-power connectors
1.
Park the machine on a level surface.
2.
Raise the loader arms and install the cylinder
locks.
3.
Shut off the machine and remove the key.
4.
Remove the hood; refer to
g304438
(page
28).
5.
Separate the 2 power connectors
6.
Make any repairs.
7.
Plug the connectors together before operating
the machine.

CAUTION
If you do not disconnect the power to the
machine, someone could accidentally turn on
the machine, causing serious bodily injury.
Always separate the connectors before
