Description
Blinks twice every second (2 Hz): HDD0 or HDD1 hard
disk is reading or writing data.
Off: HDD0 or HDD1 hard disk is not detected.
USB ports allow you to insert USB devices for system
software upgrades. For details, refer to the Upgrade Guide
delivered with the device.
Steady on: USB0 or USB1 is connected.
Off: USB0 or USB1 is not connected.
Console ports allow you to locally connect to the device. The
RJ45 and mini USB console ports cannot be used
simultaneously. If both console ports are connected, only the
mini USB console port can be used.
You can use a mini-USB-to-USB cable to connect the mini
USB console port on the device to the USB port on your PC
and use a serial port terminal program on your PC to
access, configure, and manage the device.
You can use a console cable to connect the console port
(RJ45) on the device to the COM port on your PC and use a
serial port terminal program on your PC to access,
configure, and manage the device.
Steady on: The console port (RJ45) is in use.
Off: The console port (RJ45) is not in use.
Steady on: The console port (Mini USB) is connected and
in use.
Off: The console port (Mini USB) is not in use.
Out-of-band 10/100/1000M RJ45 autosensing Ethernet
management port. The interface number is GigabitEthernet
0/0/0 and the default IP address of the interface is 192.168.0.1.
After this port is connected to your PC through network cables,
you can log in to the device using Telnet, STelnet, or web UI
to configure or manage the device.
NOTE
The MGMT port cannot be used as a service port.
To restart the device, press the RST button. Ensure that the
running configuration is saved before pressing the RST button.
The RST button can also be used to restore the default settings.
Press and hold down the RST button and power on the device.
Three to five seconds later, when the MODE indicator on
SPUA is blinking, release the RST button to restore the default
settings.
