Connecting Other Equipment

• DO NOT connect any equipment while the power is
on.
• DO NOT plug in any equipment until all connections
are complete.
To connect an analog component
The plugs of the audio cords are color coded: white plugs and
jacks are for left audio signals, and red ones for right audio
signals.

By using audio cords (not supplied), connect between the
audio output jacks on the other equipment and AUX jacks for
playing the other equipment.

Power Supply

To operate on household AC
Connect the AC power cord after all other connections have
been made.
To audio output
The provided AC power cord for this unit has certain one-way
direction connections to prevent electric shock. Refer to the
illustration for correct connection.
To operate on batteries
Insert 8 batteries (not supplied) - R20/D(13F) - into the
battery compartment as shown in the illustration.
Be sure to insert the batteries with the + and – terminals
positioned correctly.

To a wall outlet
• DO NOT use any AC cord other than the JVC power
cord provided with this unit; otherwise malfunction or
damage to the unit may occur.
