7.8 Replacing the Pendulum Shaft
Bushings
When the pendulum shaft has been removed
(follow "7.6 Removing the pendulum shaft"), the

bushings in the rear frame must be changed.
Remove the bushings (1), (2) one from each
direction.

New bushings are fitted with the mandrel, refer to
"3 Special tools".

The bushings must be initially lubricated with a
lithium-based grease.
It is important that the outer bushing's outer edge
is on the same level as the beveled edge of the
hole.

7.9 Assembling the Pendulum Shaft

Slide the washer (2) on the pendulum shaft with

the beveled edge against the fork (1) of the
pendulum shaft.

Grease the shaft and assemble it in the front
frame.

Slide the ring (3) on from behind and screw in the
screw.

Roll the rear carriage forward and fit it into the fork
of the pendulum shaft.
