1-14-3. System Phase Adjustment
Personal computer
Adjustment conditions
. Remove the front panel assembly of
the VSR-2000A.
. Connect the COM output of a person-
al computer to the EXT-232C on the
front of the VSR-2000A.
. Select the service port selection
switch so that it is aligned with the slot
of the board that you want to adjust.
(Refer to Section 2-6-5.)
. Confirm that the indication of the
terminal is DEC>.

Adjustment method
1. Enter V\ \ \ \ \ PHASE into the
terminal software of a personal
computer and press the ENTER
key to display the present value.
2. In order to delay the output
video phase from the present
phase, enter V\ \ \ \ \ + and press
the ENTER key to delay the
output video phase by 1 CLK
(about 37 ns).
3. In order to advance the output
video phase, enter V\ \ \ \ \ _ and
press the ENTER key to
advance the output video phase
by 1 CLK (about 37 ns).
4. To input the desired phase
value directly, enter V\ \ \ \ \ 0010 or
other values and press the
ENTER key.
Upper limit 0400
(hexadecimal number)
Lower limit FC00
(hexadecimal number)
5. Repeat step 2 or 3 to adjust the
value until the specifications are
satisfied.
6. Enter V\ \ \ \ \ SET and press the
ENTER key to write the adjust-
ment value to the NVRAM.
7. Enter RES and press the
ENTER key. The DEC-117
board is reset.
Confirm that the specifications
are satisfied in this status.
