1-14-4. Subcarrier Phase Adjustment
Personal computer
Adjustment conditions
. Remove the front panel assembly of
the VSR-2000A.
. Connect the COM output of the
personal computer to the EXT-232C
on the front of the VSR-2000A.
. Select the service port selection
switch so that it is aligned with the slot
of the board that you want to adjust.
(Refer to Section 2-6-5.)
. Confirm that the indication of the
terminal is DEC>.

Adjustment method
1. Enter SC\ \ \ \ \ PHASE into the
terminal software of a personal
computer and press the ENTER
key to display the present value.
2. In order to delay the subcarrier
phase, enter SC\ \ \ \ \ + and press
the ENTER key to delay the
output phase by 1.4d.
3. In order to advance the subcarri-
er phase, enter SC\ \ \ \ \ _ and
press the ENTER key to
advance the output phase by
1.4d.
4. To input the desired phase
value directly, enter SC\ \ \ \ \ 10 or
others and press the ENTER
key.
Adjustment range 00 to FF
(hexadecimal number)
5. Repeat step 2 or 3 to adjust the
value to satisfy the specifica-
tions.
6. Enter SC\ \ \ \ \ SET, and press the
ENTER key to write the adjust-
ment value to the NVRAM.
7. Enter RES and press the
ENTER key. The DEC-117
board is reset.
Confirm that the specifications
are satisfied in this status.
