Pear & Walnut Blue Cheese
Rice Salad
Serves 6

Cook time: 45 minutes

Ingredients
grain
rice/well rinsed
• 2
cups white
• 2 pears diced
• 6 spring onions chopped
• ½ cup walnuts chopped
• ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
• 2 lemons juice and zest
• 1 sprig fresh thyme
• 3 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and pepper
Method
1.
Place thyme and lemon zest with washed rice
in cooker and fill with water to 2 cups of rice level.
Cook on Standard Rice Function.

Allow to cool. Make dressing with lemon juice and olive oil.

Separately mix pear, walnuts, cheese and spring onion.

Mix all together to serve.
