4 OPERATION
Starting the system
To start the Base System, follow these steps:
(1) Double-click the "S10V BASE SYSTEM" icon in the Windows® screen. Or select
Start button – [(All) Programs] – [Hitachi S10V] – [S10V BASE SYSTEM] – [S10V
BASE SYSTEM].
(2) The [[S10V] S10BASE] window is displayed.
At startup, the "Connection status" is set to "OFFLINE" so that the available functionality
is limited.
