Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding Cancel Available

52 N 02.10.12
A 4 second guard timer has been added to Call Coverage key operation. This helps extensions that
have the same Call Coverage key assignments. As soon as an extension user presses their Call Cov-
erage key to answer a call, the key becomes unavailable for 4 seconds to all other extensions with
that same key. (Users will hear reorder tone if they press their key before the 4 seconds expire.)
This helps prevent users from inadvertantly placing a call to the covered destination. In prior soft-
ware versions, for example:
1.
A new call rings the UCD Hunting Group master number, and the Call Coverage keys on both
extensions start to flash (and optionally ring).
2.
Both extension users press their Call Coverage keys to pick up the call.
3.
The system connects the call to the extension user that pressed their key first. The other exten-
sion places a call to the UCD Group master number (instead of answering the call).
Call Forwarding cancel allows a keyset user to dial a code to simultaneously cancel all Call For-
warding system-wide. The extension must have access level 4 or 5 (set up in 1801-Access Level).
You should always use Call Forwarding Cancel to initialize Call Forwarding after upgrading
your system from a prior software level.
To cancel all Call Forwarding system-wide:
1.
Do not lift the handset, do not press SPK , and do not press ICM .
2.
Dial # + CC ( 22 ).
