Before removing the touchpad cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the touchpad cable:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the keyboard (1).
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (2).
3. Remove the touchpad cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad cable.
