Protect the appliance from drips or splashes of water . Do not

place any vessels containing liquid (e .g . flower vases) on or
near the appliance .
Always pull the plug out of the power socket during each

break in use, as well as after use and before any cleaning .

During operation, touch the appliance only on the heat level

control or on the side handles . There is a risk of burns!
Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it .

To prevent the appliance from overheating, do not place any

materials such as aluminium foil, aluminium trays, plates or
the like on the grill . There is a risk of fire!
Do not operate the appliance without sufficient water in the

drip tray, otherwise it may overheat . There is a risk of fire!
Fill the drip tray with approx . 1 litre of cold water up to the
MAX mark . As soon as the water level falls below the MIN
mark, top up the water .
Keep a sufficient safety distance from easily flammable

objects such as furniture, curtains etc . The distance to a wall
must be at least 15 cm . There is a risk of fire!
