Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by

children unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised .
Children younger than 8 years of age are to be kept away

from the appliance and the power cable .
All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist compa-

nies or by the Customer Service department . Improper repairs
may put the user at risk . They will also invalidate any warranty
claim .
Defective components must always be replaced with genuine

replacement parts . Compliance with safety requirements can
only be guaranteed if original replacement parts are used .
Protect the mains cable from contact with hot appliance parts .

Never use the appliance near naked flames, a hotplate or a
heated oven .
No user action is required to switch the product between 50
■
and 60 Hz . The product switches automatically to either 50 or
60 Hz .
Set up the appliance as close as possible to an electrical power
■
socket . Make sure that the power plug is quickly reachable in
case of danger and that there is no danger of tripping over
the cable .
Provide a stable location for the appliance .
