Maintenance

1) Turn off the unit and pull out the power plug.
2) Empty the tank. (
Main unit
(Once a month)
Dampen a soft cloth with warm water or water mixed with a small
amount of mild kitchen cleanser, wring the cloth out firmly, and wipe
away any dirt on the unit. Then dry the unit with a dry cloth.
● The air intake and outlets get dirty easily. You can remove dust and dirt
using a vacuum cleaner.
Important
● Do not lay down the unit. (Doing so may cause water to leak.)
● Do not splash water directly onto the unit. (Doing so may deteriorate the
insulation and cause the unit to rust or result in electrical shock.)
● Do not use any substances shown to the right to clean the unit. (Doing
so may cause deformation or discoloration of the unit.)
● When using a chemically treated cloth, be sure to follow the instructions provided.
Filter
(Once every 2 weeks)
Remove dust and dirt from the filter using a
vacuum cleaner with a thin tipped nozzle.
● Replace the filter if it becomes damaged.
● If the filter becomes clogged, the dehumidifying power will decrease.
This wastes electricity and may cause the unit to break down.
Removing the filter
● Pull the knob towards you.
Reinstalling the filter
(1) Insert the tabs on the bottom of the filter into the slots on
the unit. (3 places)
(2) Push the knob on the top of the filter in firmly.
● Fit the tabs on the top of the filter into the slots on the unit.
