Interpreter desks

The interpreter desks (LBB4120/00) have a 2 m long
DCN cable and a DCN socket to loop themselves
through in the DCN.

28.2 Booths

A maximum of 6 desks can be installed per booth.
These desks can be used stand-alone or as part of a
more comprehensive system. In figure 28.1 and
figure 28.2 are two typical examples using either trunk
splitters (LBB4114/00) or tap-off units (LBB4115/00).
Using a trunk splitter, a multiple of units can be
connected in series (see figure 28.1). Using tap-off units
(see figure 28.2), only one interpreter desk can be
connected to a single tap-off, allowing in total only two
interpreter desks to be connected.
In the event of a unit failure, other interpreter desks
connected to the same line can be affected. Using the
tap-off unit method, only one booth is affected.
However, using the trunk splitter method, all units
connected may be affected.
