4.2.3 Bottom view
The bottom of the desk (see figure 4.3) contains the
following:
25 DCN cable - A 2 m long cable to connect the
interpreter desk to the system. The cable is
terminated with a moulded, male, 6-pole, circular
connector (see section 4.3.2).
26 External devices - An RJ45 socket to connect a
booth-on-air indication and to connect to devices
that can activate the telephone and intercom
indicators on the desk (see section 4.3.5).
27 DCN socket - A female, 6-pole, circular socket to
loop the interpreter desk through (see section 4.3.2).

28 De-init - A recessed microswitch to reset the
address of the unit (press briefly, see also chapter
30).
29 Microphone volume - A recessed potentiometer
to adjust the volume of the microphone from -2 dB
to 2 dB. The potentiometer adjusts the volumes of
both the microphone connected to the desk and the
microphone of the headset.
