on.
NOTE:
Drive status indicator behavior is managed by Storage Spaces Direct. Not all drive status indicators may be used.

PCIe slots

The PCIe slots on Precision 5820 have a different functionality depending on the processor installed. Core i7-78xx has a limit of
28 lanes.
This results in a reduced PCIe lane count to the slots 1 and 4 as shown in the following table:
● Slot 1 is closest to CPU/memory complex.

Identifying drive or preparing for removal.
Drive ready for removal.
NOTE:
The drive status indicator remains off until all drives are
initialized after the system is turned on. Drives are not ready
for removal during this time.
Predicted drive failure.
Drive failed.
Drive rebuilding.
Drive online.
Rebuild stopped.
