Secure the backup file device with four screws provided with the device.

Insert the device carrier into backup device bay.
When the device carrier is pushed into device bay completely, it is locked with clicking sound.

Connect the interface cable and power cable provided with the backup file device.

Connect the USB cable to connector on motherboard.

• Be sure to use the screws that provided with the device.
Important
• Adjust the installation position so that the screw holes on the device align
with those on device bay.
• If it is hard to connect a cable due to long depth of device, slide the device
toward the front of chassis, and install it.
Note
Pay attention not to catch the cable when inserting the device carrier.
Note
The power cable is provided in the device bay.
Note
Make sure that USB cable does not come in contact with any electronic
component on motherboard.
