3.1 Removing the Shipping Bracket
The scanner has a bracket that fixes the position of the carrier unit during transportation. The bracket must be
removed from the base of the scanner.
If the power is turned on before the bracket has been removed, the Alarm lamp turns on. Before proceeding, turn
off the power, disconnect the power cable, and remove the bracket.
CAUTION
Do not turn the scanner upside down when removing the bracket.
