1. OVERVIEW OF SVR-DS

Toshiba CIE Integrated Control System TOSDIC-CIE DS is a next-generation CIE integrated
control system that allows you to manage and operate Information System Ethernet and Ethernet
Control LAN to process information and to control and monitor processes in a more unified way.
SVR-DS is a database station that is connected to OIS-DS to manage databases of the
TOSDIC-CIE DS system.

The TOSDIC-CIE DS System and SVR-DS

For TOSDIC-CIE DS, the maximum of two SVR-DS stations, eight OIS-DS stations, and 22
PCS-DS stations can be connected to one system of Ethernet Control LAN. OIS Engineering
Tools, general purpose workstations, and PC's can be connected to the Information System
Ethernet. In the Ethernet Control LAN, transmission lines can be made redundant.
