5. ALARM OUTPUT

When a process alarm or system alarm occurs, SVR-DS outputs voice messages and external
alarms.
Voice Messages
When a voice alarm is output, the registered voice alarm is output from the voice message
device.
Voice alarms are output from the voice message device when the events registered for the voice
alarms occur or are recovered.
(1) Registration of Voice Output
Details of voice output are registered. The following items are registered.

The event conditions for the voice alarm to be generated are registered.

External Alarm Output

The External Alarm Output function outputs digital signals to external alarms when registered
events occur and stops the output when they are recovered. Also, it outputs digital signals for one
second to external alarms when registered events occur.
(1) External Alarm Output Registration
Details of external alarm output are registered. The following items are registered.
Ÿ Tag Number
Ÿ Atom Name
: The preset voice alarm number. You can register voice
alarms output when an event occurs and when it is
recovered.
: The event conditions for the alarm to be generated.
: The tag number of the DO for which the external alarm
signal is output. Selected from DO's of the RAS board and
the PCS digital tags.
: The atom name of the DO for which the external alarm signal
is output. Selected from DO's of the RAS board and the PCS
digital tags.
