7.5 Module Replacement

• Before replacing an AN712 module, switch off the base unit and make sure that power is off.
(1) Switch off the base unit, and check the LED indications to make sure that the power
is off.
(2) Turn the ADMAP cable connectors connected to the AN712 module
counterclockwise to loosen and remove them.
(3) Loosen the M4 screws on top and bottom of the AN712 module using a Phillips
screwdriver, and remove the module along the module guide of the base unit.
(4) Install a new AN712 module in the base unit and connect the cables to it, referring to
the instructions above for installation and cable connection.
(5) Set the switches on the new AN712 module to be the same as those on the removed
module.
(6) Switch power back on, and download the parameters using the engineering tool.
