GDM Info Description
Module Start The module failed to start
Failure because of an error with
one of the following: (1)
NVRAM (2) FPGA (Field
Programmable Gate Array)
(3) Configuration ID.
Desat The fault may be caused by
one of the following: The
Inverter's IGBT (Insulated
Gate Bipolar Transistor) is
faulty. The Inverter IGBT is
overloaded. The IGBT
driver's PCB (Printed Circuit
Board) is faulty.
Desat A reset was attempted too
Cooling Time soon.
LVDC PSU One of the following
Voltage Low scenarios has occurred:
- The control power supply
has failed, or
- The auxiliary module is
faulty.
Interlock Two of the IGBTs (Insulated
Error Gate Bipolar Transistor)
from the same bridge are
activated.
Note: Only one should
activate at any one time.
SPI There is an SPI (Serial
Watchdog Peripheral Interface Bus)
Error watchdog error.
Combined There is a generic FPGA
FPGA Fault (Field-Programmable Gate
Array) fault.
DC Bus The DC Bus has risen to an
Overvoltage unsustainable voltage
because of one of the
following scenarios:
- The utility supply voltage
is too high
- There is excessive load
regeneration
DC Bus The DC Bus voltage is high.
Voltage High There may be an earth fault
in the supply or excessive
load regeneration.
Recommended Action
Power down and restart.
Power down and restart. If the
fault is not resolved contact
your ABB Service Agent to
have relevant module replaced.
Wait for 15 min before
pressing Reset.
Check the AC supply voltage is
correct.
If the warning is not resolved,
contact your ABB Service
Agent to have the auxiliary
module replaced.
Replace the faulty module.
Ensure all communication
cables are connected and not
damaged.
If damaged, contact your ABB
Service Agent to have the
cables replaced.
Check all communication
cables.
Check the utility supply
voltage
Review the load types.
Wait until the DC voltage has
returned to normal.
If the warning is not resolved,
contact your ABB Service
Agent.
