Do not open the lid (10) while the water is being heated.
WARNING about property damage
 The
kettle (4)
base (5).
 Never place any objects on the base (5).
 Only operate the kettle on an even, stable and heat-resistant
surface. If the kettle is not placed on an even surface the
movement of the boiling water could make it tip over causing
damage to property and burns.
 Never leave the kettle unattended during operation.
 Disconnect the mains plug from the wall outlet when the
kettle is unattended.
DANGER: Risk of electric shock
 The power cord (7) must not be damaged. Never replace a
damaged power cord (7), instead contact our hotline (see
"Warranty information" section). There is a risk of electric
shock in the case of a damaged power cord (7).
 Do not open the base (5) housing - it contains no serviceable
parts. Opening the housing can expose you to the risk of
electric shock.
 If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or strange smells,
switch off the kettle immediately and remove the mains plug
from the wall outlet. If this occurs, the kettle should no longer
be used until it has been inspected by authorized service
personnel. Never inhale smoke from a possible appliance
