Playback Through the Viewfinder using EDIT

To check the recorded picture (for focus, white
balance, iris, etc . )

Turn the POWER switch to CAMERA.

Rotate the STAN DBY switch upward to
STANDBY.

Press and hold the EDIT SEARCH
for reverse search, or press and hold the EDIT
SEARCH © button for forward search.

To stop playback, release the EDIT SEARCH
button.
There is no sound during playback.
AUTO WHITE BALANCE, AUTO
IRIS
Slide the FULL AUTO switch to ON to let the cam
corder automatically adj ust colour and brightness
to their best settings for each scene.
• When the ambient light changes (for example,
when you red irect the lens from a subject under
fluorescent l ight to one under incandescent l ight
or sunl ight, etc . ) , allow the auto white balance to
readjust by turning the power off then on again.
• When recording a subject against a background
with an intense colour.
• When there is insufficient light.
• When the colour temperatu re of a scene changes
too rapidly or there is too m uch contrast.
• When the subject is a solid colour.
