(10) 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T Interface Cable (CAT.5E，RJ45 connector)
The boundary with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T is the connector on
GR4000. For the connection with 1000BASE-T, use a UTP interface cable categorized as
"Enhanced Category 5". (It is possible to use a UTP interface cable categorized as
"Category 5" for the connection only with 100BASE-TX. Also, it is possible to use a UTP
interface cable categorized "Category 3" for the connection only with 10BASE-T.)
The maximum transmission distance for the connection of GR4000 with 10BASE-T,
100BASE-TX or 1000BASE-T is 100m.
Figure 3.2-11 below shows the rough sketch of the cable , and Table 3.2-16 shows the
pin arrangement on GR4000.
