Environmental Conditions

(1) Dust
A cooling fan is installed into the GR4000, therefore do not locate the GR4000 in a place
where it can be affected by high humidity or dust.
When using the method to measure the amount of falling dust:5%/W or less:

(2) Corrosive Gas/Inflammable Gas
Do not locate the unit in a place where corrosive or inflammable gas may be present.
These substances can corrode internal components, thus causing reliability problems
and shortening the life of the router.
(3) Floor Material
Although you can locate the GR4000 in a general office environment, we recommend
the floor materials have the following qualities:
Fireproof
Dust inhibiting
(4) Direct Sunlight
Keep the router away from direct sunlight, since it can cause it to overheat.
(5) Water
Keep the unit away from areas where it could accidentally be splashed with water, such
as when cleaning a floor.

NOTE: You can measure the amount of dust by using the following method:
