A C :
T h e trigger signal is capacitively coupled with
the trigger circuit.
The D C component of input signal is blocked.
H F R E J : Trigger signal is D C coupled with the trigger
circuit.
A C components over 1.5 k H z are attenuated
for stable triggering of low-frequency com-
ponents.
D C :
T h e trigger signal is D C coupled with the
trigger circuit in such a way as to give a trig-
gering which includes the effects of dc com-
ponents.
@
T R I G ' D Lamp
Lights up when the triger signal is fed and reaches the
triggering range set with the L E V E L control (23) .
@
S O U R C E Switch
Allows selection from three triggering modes.
C H 1 :
C H 1 vertical input signal becomes a trigger
signal.
C H 2 :
C H 2 vertical input signal becomes a trigger
signal.
E X T :
Signal applied at E X T . T R I G
comes a trigger signal.
L I N E :
Line frequency
becomes a trigger signal.
(27) T R I G G E R I N G MODE Switch
Selects triggering mode.

will be presented when a proper trigger signal
is absent.
While the stored waveform is displayed on the
screen, only the stored waveform is displayed
on the screen without performing the N O R M
operation.
(28) S W E E P T I M E / D I V Control
Selects the sweep time in 20 steps from 0.2 /is/div to
0.5 s/div. T h e sweep time will be the indication value
calibrated at the C A L position (full clockwise) of
V A R I A B L E (2§) . While the stored waveform is dis-
puted
on the screen, the indication on this control
has no effect.
@
V A R I A B L E Control
Provides fine
sweep time adjustment
between the ranges of the S W E E P T I M E / D I V Control
(28) . The sweep time is calibrated in the C A L position
(full clockwise). While the stored waveform is display-
ed on the screen, this control has no effect.

P O S I T I O N :
Rotation adjusts horizontal position of the
waveform.
P U L L X 1 0 M A G :
Provides 10 times faster sweep time when
pulled out.
