REAR PANEL

@
S W E E P G A T E J a c k
The positive-pulse gate waveform synchronized with
the sweep is outputted here.
(43) Z A X I S INPUT Jack
External intensity modulation input; T T L compatible.
Positive voltage increases the intensity.
@
CH1 O U T P U T Jack
C H 1 vertical output connector, providing a capacitively
coupled signal. Used as in frequency measurement by
connecting a frequency counter. Cascade connection
for C H 1 and C H 2 is not allowed.
@
M E M O R Y O U T A , B Jacks
The data for A and B stored in their memories are
taken at these jacks after being converted into analog
form.
When the M O D E switch is set to A D D and the D I S -
P L A Y M O D E selector is set to N O R M , the added
output signal is fed only to the B jack.
@
F O R PEN A , B Jacks
Output (analog) signal connectors for a pen recorder.
The data stored by using the S A M P L I N G C L O C K A
control is fed to the A connector, and the data stored
by using the S A M P L I N G C L O C K B is fed to the B
connector. These connectors are only effective in P E N
mode.

N O T E :
It is impossible to set a P E N S P E E D value and O N / O F F
state for either jack independently of the other.
(47) R E A D G A T E O U T Jack
The positive pulse corresponding to the one word of
the last address in the memory is fed to this connector.
The output signal from this connector can be used as a
trigger
signal when reading via the E X T C L O C K
connector.
@
R E A D G A T E O U T F O R PEN Jack
This connector is used to control a pen recorder or
other device. This connector is effective in P E N mode.
With the P E N S T A R T button pressed, the signal is fed
at low level ( T T L level).
(49) E X T C L O C K Jack
External clock input connector for read only. This
connector is used with the S A M P L I N G C L O C K A
switch set to E X T .
(50) GP-IB Connector
When connecting this instrument to the G P - I B inter-
face the piggyback cable is connected here. Connec-
tion or disconnection must be done only after the
G P - I B controller is powered off.
