A write to memory is started not by manual
start but at the interval set by the P U L L
D I S P L A Y
T I M E knob.
trigger signal, the unit performs a P R E T R I G
operation, and after the elapse of the set
interval, restarts a write to memory.
If, in this mode, W R I T E / P E N S T A R T (37) is
pressed, the write operation may stop. When
using manual start, therefore, ensure that the
P U L L D I S P L A Y T I M E button is O F F . In the
event of an unwanted stop of write operation,
the stop can be cancelled by simply pushing
an then pulling the P U L L D I S P L A Y
button.

selector set to the P E N position,
this switch becomes effective to select a read speed of
the P E N output in 3 steps: 10, 2 0 , and 50 ms/word.
GP-IB L E D s
The four L E D s indicate the state of the unit when it
is controlled by a G P - I B . When lit, each L E D provides
the following indication:
S R Q :
T h e unit is in service request mode.
T A L K :
T h e unit is addressed as the talker.
L I S T E N : The unit is addressed as the listener.
R E N :
The unit is in remote mode.
