Special feature of the load current supply
To supply 24 VDC to the described max. 32 modules and the input and output circuits, we
recommend the load current supplies from the SIMATIC series PM 70W 120/230V AC or
PM 190W 120/230V AC. The number of load current supplies is unlimited.
Load current supplies can be mounted on the "S7-1500 mounting rail" but do not have a
connection to the backplane bus.
Observe the installation rules and specified installation distances in the manuals of the load
current supplies.
Note
Alternative 24 V supply of the modules from the control cabinet
The modules can also be supplied with 24 VDC from the control cabinet provided a secure
electrical isolation (SELV/PELV to IEC 60364-4-41) is ensured.
