Using the Printer Software for Macintosh
Select the paper source you wish to use from the
following selections.
Sheet Feeder:
Select this to leave a 3-mm margin on both the right
and the left sides of the paper. This option is
available when printing on normal paper.
Sheet Feeder - No Margins:
Select this to leave no margins on either side of the
paper. This option is available only when printing
on A4, A3, Legal, or Letter size paper.
Roll Paper:
Select this to leave a 3-mm margin on both the right
and the left sides of the roll paper.
Roll Paper - No Margins:
Select this to leave no margins on either side of the
roll paper. This option is available only when
printing on roll paper which is 89 or 100 mm in width.
Select Portrait (tall) or Landscape (wide) to change
the orientation of your printout. If you need to print
close to the bottom of the page, select the Rotate
by 180 degrees check box.
Use this setting to reduce or enlarge the size of your
image, from 25% to 400%.
Use the options in the Printable Area box to adjust
the total area available for printing when Sheet
Feeder or Sheet Feeder - No Margins is selected as
the paper source. This feature is not available when
Roll Paper or Roll Paper - No Margins is selected.
Select Centered to center the printout. To increase
the printable area, select Maximum.
Note:
When Maximum is selected, the print quality may
decline at the edges of the printout. Before printing
large jobs using this setting, print a single sheet to
confirm quality.
When Maximum is selected, make sure the paper
loaded in the sheet feeder is not curled.
