FINAL DRIVE
11. Remove the cotter pin

and remove the cone washer
pin, nut, and washer.
12. Remove the hub assembly.
13. Remove the lower shock fastener
14. Remove upper control arm pinch bolt.
15. Using a soft face hammer, tap on bearing carrier to
loosen the upper A-arm ball joint end while lifting
upward on the upper A-arm. Completely remove the
ball joint end from the bearing carrier.

. Discard the cotter

16. Remove driveshaft from bearing carrier.
17. With a short, sharp jerk, remove drive shaft from the
front gearcase.
18. Repeat steps 10– 17 for the opposite side of the
vehicle.
19. Remove the gearcase vent line
Route the vent line out of the routing grommet
20. Remove the fastener
mounting plate to the chassis. Repeat step for
opposite side of the vehicle.
