Procedure for troubleshooting
If a failure or failure symptom occurs in the machine, perform troubleshooting according to the following pro-
cedure.
1.
When engine service monitor or machine monitor displays failure code
If a failure code is displayed on the engine service monitor or machine monitor at the same time as the
problem occurs, check the failure display, then go to the troubleshooting chart for the failure code.
2. When electrical system failure code or mechanical system failure code is recorded in abnormality
record:
If a problem occurs but the failure code does not appear on the engine service monitor or machine monitor,
use the abnormality record display function in the machine monitor service mode to check for the failure
code.
When the failure code is recorded, that probably shows the cause of failure. So go to the corresponding
troubleshooting section.
3. When action code or failure code is not displayed and no failure code is recorded in abnormality
record:
If a problem occurs but the failure code does not appear on the engine service monitor or machine monitor,
and also the failure code is not recorded in the abnormality record of the machine monitor, the problem of
the electrical, hydraulic or mechanical system that cannot be detected by a controller may have occurred.
In this case, check the symptom of the failure again. Then perform the relevant troubleshooting described
in the "E mode", "H mode", "S mode", "M mode", "K mode", or "W mode" section relevant to the failure.
