Step 4: Test the CAN bus wiring in harness connector P20.
Use a multimeter to test the resistance between the following pair of locations:

The CAN bus wiring tests passed.
1.
Leave harness connectors P20 and P21 unplugged from the motor cable connectors.
2.
Leave the battery disconnected.
3.
Go to Step 5.
Fail
The CAN bus wiring test failed.
Note:
If the reading is 108 to 132 ohms, it means that one of the terminators is not connected to
the CAN bus or one of the terminators has failed.

Troubleshoot the terminators and the wiring.
2.
Repair or replace the worn or damaged parts.

Go to
Step 5: Verify battery power in harness connectors P20 and P21.

Verify that the key switch is in the O

Connect the battery. Refer to

Use a multimeter to measure the voltage between the following pairs of locations:
