Recommended Service Actions
Step 1: Test if the fault is active.
1. Turn on the machine by rotating the key switch to the O
2. Look at the InfoCenter and see if it has powered up.
3. Turn off the machine by rotating the key switch to the O
Pass
The InfoCenter powered up, which proves that the fault is no longer active. Go to
Machine to Service (page 20)
Fail The InfoCenter did not power up, which proves that the fault is still active. Go to Step 2.
Step 2: Charge the battery.
Refer to the Maintaining the Lithium-Ion Battery Pack section of your machine's operator's manual.
1. Ensure the battery charger is turned off.
2. Connect the battery charger to the battery.
3. Switch the battery charger on.
4. Fully charge the battery.
5. Switch the battery charger off.
6. Disconnect the battery charger from the machine.
7. Start the machine.
Pass The fault did not return. Go to
listed.
Fail
The fault repeated. Go to step 3.
Step 3: Create diagnostic file.
1. Create a Samsung battery output file. Refer to the Create a Samsung Battery Output File section in the
Toro DIAG Commercial Products User's Guide as needed.
2. Deliver the Samsung battery output file to the Toro Technical Assistance Center (TAC) by attaching it to a
support case. DO NOT email the file.
TAC will send the battery output file to Samsung for analysis.
Step 4: Follow the repair advice provided by Toro TAC.
After Samsung analyzes the battery output file, they will give their results to Toro TAC. In turn, Toro TAC may
provide additional repair advice to you.
