Pass
The battery charge indicator shows at least one full block. Go to Step 3.
Fail
The battery charge indicator does not show at least one full block.
1.
Move the key switch to the O
2.
Disconnect the battery. Refer to
3.
Verify that the battery charger is turned off.
4.
Connect the battery charger to the battery and charge the battery.
5.
Disconnect the battery charger and reconnect the battery to the machine.
6.
Repeat Step 2.
Step 3: Check for physical obstructions of the reel and of the traction
drum.
WARNING
The reel blades are extremely sharp and can injure you.
When you are removing an obstruction from the reel blades, wear cut-resistant or heavy
leather gloves.
Physical obstructions can include twine, rope, wire, debris, a tree branch, etc.

Move the key switch to the O

Disconnect the battery. Refer to

Remove the obstruction.
4.
Connect the battery. Refer to
5.
Start and operate the machine.
Pass
The fault did not repeat. Go to
listed.
Fail
The fault repeated. Go to Step 4.
Step 4: Check that the machine assemblies rotate freely and operate
without excessive force and friction.
For free rotation checks, refer to the machine's service manual (Greensmaster® e1021/e1026 Service Manual
or Greensmaster® eFlex® 1021 Service Manual) for disengaging the drum and reel drive/clutch.

Disconnect the battery. Refer to

Check that the housings and covers are properly installed.
4.
Check that the brake assembly is properly installed and adjusted.
5.
Check for any reel-to-bedknife contact.
6.
Remove the motor and ensure that it turns freely by hand.
7.
Check for damage, wear, and proper adjustment of the traction assembly, transmission assembly, and reel
assembly.
8.
Reassemble the machine.
9.
Connect the battery. Refer to

Operate the machine.
