Q.
Unable to connect WLAN device
A.
Make sure Wi-Fi Frequency Settings of Wi-Fi router and
WLAN function of WLAN device are activated. When five
minutes elapse after no WLAN devices are connected,
Wi-Fi router goes into Sleep mode and WLAN function
of Wi-Fi router is disabled. Long press
automatically. To change the time until WLAN function
turns OFF, use the displayed menu on Wi-Fi router or
Web UI. For details, see
"Setting Energy-Saving
and
"ECO
Settings."

Confirm that network name (SSID) of Wi-Fi router is
selected and the correct password (Encryption Key) is
entered on the WLAN device. If you forget the network
name (SSID) or password (Encryption Key), you can
confirm it in the displayed menu,

. Or, you can confirm and change them
in Web UI by going to "Wi-Fi Settings" then "Owner SSID/
Guest SSID Common Settings/Owner SSID settings."

If you are unable to connect with WPS function, see
WLAN device user guide etc. If you are still unable to
connect, set up WLAN function manually. For details, see

Depending on the specifications or settings of
WLAN devices, the connection may not be resumed
automatically even if WLAN function of Wi-Fi router and
WLAN devices is set to ON. See WLAN device user guide.

Check that there are no other access points or
interfering equipment around.

Change Wi-Fi frequency band being used and the channel
being used and reconnect. For details about the settings,

Wi-Fi router uses IEEE 802.11ax technology and the
default setting of "IEEE 802.11ax Mode" is set to
"Use" to provide stable communications to multiple
devices simultaneously. Connections can be done if "IEEE
802.11ax Mode" is set to "Do not use." For details about

Wi-Fi router's default setting for "encryption mode" is
set to "WPA2-PSK/WPA3-SAE(AES)." Connections can
be done if "WPA2-PSK (AES)" or "WPA/WPA2-PSK (TKIP/

Wi-Fi router supports Protected Management Frames
(PMF) that strengthens communication security, but
connection may fail depending on the WLAN device to
be connected. In that case, in the displayed menu, set

Unable to connect PC etc. via WLAN
A.
WLAN connection may not be established depending on
security settings of PCs and devices to connect. Check
if security software installed on PC prohibits WLAN
connection. If problem persists, contact administrator.

PC does not recognize Wi-Fi router even when connected
by USB
A.
Confirm that Wi-Fi router is properly connected to PC.

Remove Wi-Fi router from PC, restart PC, then reconnect
Wi-Fi router.
Q.
Installer does not automatically activate (Windows PC)
A.
It takes time for the system to recognize new
hardware and then to prepare for installation. Wait for
approximately ten seconds.
Q.
Charging time is long
A.
Charging via USB connection with PC takes longer. Do not
use except for compatible AC Charger (sold separately)
or supplied USB Cable (sample) to charge Wi-Fi router.
May cause malfunction.

It takes longer to charge while using Wi-Fi router.
Q.
Internet connection fails
A.
Confirm that you are in a service area.
A.
If signal reception is poor, move to where signal is
strong, then reconnect.

The access point might be busy depending on the time of
day. Wait a little while then reconnect.

Activate Web UI and confirm that Wi-Fi Spot setting and
network settings are correct.
A.
When "ESS-ID Stealth (SSID Hiding)" is ON, connection
to the network may be impossible. Set Wi-Fi router's
"ESS-ID Stealth (SSID Hiding)" to OFF. For details about
