The CPU of the SIMATIC Drive Controller supports the S7-1500
Motion Control functions via the technology objects speed axes,
positioning axes, synchronized axes, external encoders, cams, cam
tracks and measuring inputs.
Speed-controlled axis for controlling a drive with speed specifi-

Positioning axis for position-controlled positioning of a drive

Synchronous axis for interconnecting with a leading value. The

axis follows the position of the leading axis in synchronous op-
